Sandaza set to reject return to Scotland

FRANCISCO SANDAZA looks unlikely to be plying his trade in Edinburgh next season and is instead set to make a move back to his Spanish homeland.

It had been suggested the former Dundee United and St Johnstone striker,
might stay put in Scotland for the 2012/13 season with Hearts and Hibs both believed to be interested in his services.

There were also reports yesterday that Sandaza could even be set to sign for Third Division Rangers – if their signing ban is overturned. However, the 27-year-old is believed to have been offered the chance to move to La Liga, while there is also serious interest in the player from Belgium. Those are likely to be striker’s preferred options.
