Meanwhile, Rangers’ hopes of signing Zlatan Muslimovic have been dealt a blow after the player spent yesterday training with Sunderland. And Enar Jaager has ended his trial at Murray Park without Rangers having secured his signature. Despite the fact that the Estonian defender has returned to his homeland, Ibrox boss Ally McCoist said: “We are very hopeful we can put a package together there and make him an offer. Celtic have put a £10million price tag on in-form winger James Forrest who is reportedly attracting interest from Spurs.
