Bendikson to meet Rangers over future

Thomas Kind Bendiksen hopes to sort out his long-term future with Rangers when he meets with the club next week. The 22-year-old Norwegian, whose current deal runs out next month, made his first start against Dunfermline at the weekend and is attracting interest from Tromso in his homeland. His current deal expires next month but the Ibrox club have put a new offer on the table. (Express)

Celtic cleared by SFA over chants

Celtic have been cleared of breaching Scottish Premier League rules after their fans were reported for singing pro-IRA songs, with the league deciding that the club had take all reasonable steps to minimise the risk of such “unacceptable conduct”. (Scotsman)

Don’t ban Aluko - Pars chairman

Rangers winger Sone Aluko has found an unlikely ally in John Yorkston after the Dunfermline chairman said the player should not be hit with a potential two-game ban for an alleged dive. He said: “If the boy is found guilty, all he should be given is a yellow card and not a two-game ban. If the player has committed an offence, he should not get a heavier penalty because the referee missed it.” (Scotsman)

Hearts wages still not paid but players get £1,000

Senior Hearts players have now suffered a longer delay in receiving November’s wages than the previous month despite being paid a proportion of their pay packets. It is understood that around £1,000 each has been released to players who were awaiting payment due on 16 November. (Scotsman)
