Mohsni madness as Rangers star sent off

BILEL Mohsni was sent off in the dressing room at the end of Rangers 1-0 win over Airdrie last night.

Edinburgh derby reaction: Butcher hailed

TERRY Butcher has been hailed as the difference-maker in last night’s Edinburgh derby, which Hibs won 2-1.

The Scotsman’s Alan Pattullo writes: “Butcher has revived Hibs by inserting some ballast into the side, and by making the changes in the creative areas that fans had been crying out for.

“This is a new Hibs, one being built in the image of a manager who... shook his fists towards the home supporters in triumph.” (Read more from Alan here)

Finnbogason ‘could cost £8m’

CELTIC target Alfred Finnbogason has been branded with an £8m price tag by club Heerenveen.

The valuation was revealed by the Icelander’s new agent, who is currently trying to negotiate a move for the striker.

Agent Kees Ploegsma said: “I found the price tag of 10 million euro (£8.25m) unrealistic. I think Heerenveen would consider any serious offer. It is very clear Alfred wants to leave.” (Mail)
