Hibs youngster Scott Martin joins Forfar on loan

HIBERNIAN youngster Scott Martin has joined Forfar Athletic on a short-term emergency loan.

The 18-year-old started the season opener when Hibs lost 6-2 to Rangers in the opening round of the Petrofac Training Cup.

He’s since made three more appearances, including scoring in a League Cup victory over Montrose, but hasn’t featured since coming off the bench in Hibs’ 2-0 victory over Raith Rovers on August 29.

He’ll now go straight into the Forfar squad for this weekend’s meeting with Dunfermline Athletic. The Loons haven’t won any of their last four league games and have slipped out of the play-off places.
