Hibs release Owain Tudur Jones on a free transfer

Owain Tudur Jones has been released by Hibernian, the Easter Road club have confirmed.

The Wales international midfielder, 29, joined Hibs in May 2013 and made 19 appearances during his time at the Leith club.

A statement on Hibs’ official website read: “Everybody at the club would like to wish Owain all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.”

Manager Alan Stubbs brought in loan signings Dylan McGeouch from Celtic and Jake Sinclair on transfer deadline day and both players will be available for selection for Hibs’ next match against Cowdenbeath at Easter Road on September 13.
