SPL Fanzone: Hearts

SOME of the gloom surrounding Hearts at the moment was lifted on Saturday as we not only scored twice, and two decent goals at that, but collected three points.

It would be wrong to get carried away with a victory at home against the team at the bottom of the league but another start for John Sutton at least showed that Paulo Sergio is moving in the right direction. It is impossible, however, to escape the feeling of negativity around the club, with wages apparently still outstanding and the club not able to sell tickets for away games. Vladimir Romanov became a laughing stock a long time ago but it is unacceptable that he is dragging the proud name of our club through the mud. The sooner he is gone the better.

Hopefully, on the pitch, we can build on Saturday’s result when we play St Johnstone, although it won’t be easy given their recent form.
