I THINK everyone got what they wanted from Saturday’s cup game, we went into the hat for the next round and Auchinleck got all of the plaudits. However, I didn’t think they were unlucky.

We could have had three penalties in the first half and created a host of chances and their “goal” looked offside to me. I also thought their goalkeeper not returning the ball to us after the lengthy stoppage for Darren Barr’s injury was poor sportsmanship.

The fifth-round draw was as boring as they come. We play too many games against other sides in the SPL as it is, and another game against St Johnstone is unwelcome albeit it is a chance to get revenge for last year.

I cannot understand the logic behind John Sutton being available for a loan move. We struggle to score goals as it is and Saturday showed that we have no great depth in the squad up front, but I suppose needs must.
