SPL Fanzone: Hearts

HEARTS continued their 100 per cent record against Hibs this season with a routine 2-0 victory. The only real frustration on the day was the time it took to get the second goal.

Had it come before half-time, we would surely have run out more comfortable winners. It is a positive that we won easily, even though I didn’t think we played particularly well. Having said that, there were very good performances from the spine of the team, namely the goalkeeper, Barr, Webster, Black and Beattie. The relative ineffectiveness of Taouil and Driver is becoming something of a concern, and I was delighted to see Suso get on the pitch and score an excellent goal – he should hopefully figure at some point in the Cup replay at St Mirren tonight.

Confidence should now be high, it seems we will take a big support and, hopefully, we can do enough to get to Hampden.
