SPL Fanzone: Hearts

SUNDAY’S game was one of those special moments which makes it all worthwhile being a Hearts fan.

After a difficult first- half where Sergio got his tactics spot on to frustrate Celtic, we came out and had a go in the second-half.

Rudi is now a proper Hearts legend and the response of the Hearts support to his goal was amazing. The penalty was a controversial moment, but Celtic’s equaliser was quite clearly offside and was a woeful decision from the linesman. Fans of non-Old Firm clubs are always patronisingly told that these things even themselves out over the season, so that one probably makes up for the “goal” we scored against Celtic at Tynecastle earlier on in the season that wasn’t given. Its sets up a quite unbelievable derby in the final. With the greatest respect to the teams in 1896, this is the biggest derby ever and I can’t wait.
