Scottish Cup final: Loyal Hearts fans in ticket plans

HEARTS supporters with 40 loyalty points or more will have priority for purchasing Scottish Cup final tickets when they go on sale next Thursday. There is unlikely to be a general public sale due to the extensive demand for the first all-Edinburgh final in 116 years.

Each fan is entitled to one ticket for the match, which go on sale at 12pm this Thursday, April 26. Those with 40 or more loyalty points have first option, whilst supporters who have between eight and 39 loyalty points can purchase their tickets from 9am on Thursday, May 3. Sales will again be restricted to one ticket per customer.

Hearts supporters will occupy the western side of Hampden, as they did for the semi-final against Celtic. Ticket prices for the game are as follows: South Stand – £35 per person; West Stand – £28 per person, £10 for 15-year-olds and under.

A Hearts spokesperson said: “We know there will be incredible demand for tickets and for that reason we will continue to use our Loyalty Points system. We are therefore offering the first priority to buy to those who have had a season ticket for the last two seasons or purchased for next season. It also rewards those fans who have gone to most home, away and cup games over the last two seasons and accumulated at least 40 points where points have been available.

“We do expect to satisfy demand for every supporter with 40 points or more.

Supporters can buy tickets online at www.heartsfc.co.uk, by telephoning 0871 663 1874 (option 1, then option 7) or by visiting the Tynecastle ticket centre on McLeod Street. Supporters’ clubs should note the following information: Affiliated Hearts supporters’ clubs should use the standard ticket request form and submit to the Ticket Centre. The club asks that supporters’ clubs submit a different form for each stand if they wish to have different seating areas. Where possible, the club will try to keep all supporters’ clubs tickets together.
