HEARTS winger David
Templeton looks set to be hit with a one-match ban following his derby-day clash with Hibs skipper James McPake, it was reported today.

The Hearts winger’s suspension comes into effect immediately, meaning that he will miss the Tynecastle side’s league games against Inverness at home this weekend and away to Aberdeen the following Sunday.

Templeton was handed the punishment after kicking out at Hibs captain James McPake during Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Easter Road.

The 24-year old escaped punishment from referee Willie Collum at the time but the incident was caught by television cameras and referred back to the SFA by compliance officer Vincent Lunny.
