7000 tickets gone as Hearts sell out stand for semi-final

HEARTS have so far sold just over 7,000 tickets for their Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final against Inverness a week on Saturday, with the Tynecastle club confirming that Easter Road’s East Stand is a sell-out. Hearts have been allocated three of the four stands at their city rivals’ ground, with their Highland opponents being handed the North Stand (the Famous Five Stand).

Hearts have been allocated three of the four stands at their city rivals’ ground, with their Highland opponents being handed the North Stand (the Famous Five Stand).

The Gorgie club were selling tickets firstly for the East Stand and now intend to move on to sales for the South Stand (usually the away end).

The loyalty points threshold has now been removed, so a full public sale is in operation. The game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday, 26 January and will not be televised live. In what is Hearts’ first League Cup semi-final appearance since 2010, the sides will be competing to face either Celtic or St Mirren in the final.
