Hearts are closing in on a deal to sign Craig Wighton from Dundee in a six-figure transfer.
The 21-year-old striker is in the final year of his contract and is expected to undergo a medical in Edinburgh this week.
Hearts were linked previously with a bid to sign the Scotland Under-21 international in January 2016.
Wighton missed most of last season with a serious knee injury but returned to the side in April and has scored once in eight appearances for Dundee in the current campaign.
The Dens Park club will look to bring in Kenny Miller to help offset the loss of the talented Wighton. Miller, 38, is a free agent following his short-lived spell as Livingston player/manager.
St Mirren were also keen on Miller but it is understood Dundee have moved into pole position.
