Danny Grainger to miss rest of season

HEARTS left-back Danny Grainger will miss the rest of the season after being told he needs knee surgery.

He suffered cruciate ligament damage during his side’s 0-0 draw at Motherwell and a visit to a specialist has confirmed his worst fears. Grainger wrote on Twitter: “Had some terrible news today about my injury – unfortunately I will miss the rest of the season.”
