Hearts' Europa League tie in Malta to be shown live on TV

Hearts' away leg of their Europa League tie against Birkirkara in Malta will be shown live on TV.

The game at the Hibernians Stadium in Paola will be screened by pay-TV station Premier Sports on 14 July, with kick-off at 7.30pm.

Birkirkara will then visit Tynecastle a week later, on 21 July, with kick-off at 8pm.

Hearts progressed to the second qualifying round after beating Estonian side FC Infonet 6-3 on aggregate. Birkirkara, meanwhile, defeated Široki Brijeg of Bosnia 2-1.

Last year the Maltese side beat English Premier League side West Ham 1-0 at the Ta’Qali National Stadium in a Europa League qualifier, before ultimately losing 5-3 on penalties to the London side after a 1-1 draw on aggregate.
