Graham Dorrans set to complete move to Rangers - reports

Rangers have completed the £1.5million signing of Graham Dorrans, subject to a medical.

The Scottish international is set for a move back north after Rangers met Norwich City’s valuation for the 30-year-old.

The Scottish Sun are reporting that Dorrans has agreed to a three-year contract and will travel to Glasgow on Thursday to complete his medical.

The midfielder will become Rangers’ ninth summer signing. He’ll be expected to compete with fellow new recruits Ryan Jack and Mexican international Carlos Pena for a place in the Rangers midfield.

Dorrans began his career with Livingston before a 2008 move to English Premier League and West Bromich Albion. Following relegation, Dorrans was an integral part of the Baggies squad that won swift promotion back to the top flight, where they’ve remained ever since.

In January 2015 he was moved out on loan to Norwich City and would sign permanently for the Canaries that summer.

A boyhood Rangers fan, Dorrans has 12 caps for Scotland. He last played in the 6-0 win at Gibraltar in October 2015.
