Even the Fantasy Premier League isn't safe from coronavirus.

The news of Manchester City vs Arsenal's postponement saw FPL managers react like traders on London's Stock Exchange, frantically selling off their compromised assets.

For now, however, this weekend's fixtures remain unaffected by the outbreak of the disease so there's no need to panic-sell players just yet.

In the meantime, here are some players who represent sound investments for the coming Gameweeks.

Roberto Firmino, Liverpool

Bobby hasn't bagged a goal since Gameweek 25, but given that he's one of the few elite strikers who features in Gameweek 31 we believe it's worth reinvesting in the Brazilian.

Liverpool appeared to shake off any eleventh hour nerves with their cagey 2-1 victory over Bournemouth in Gameweek 29 and Firmino could benefit from this new found confidence, especially if his strike partners Salah and Mane continue to tear apart defences.

Firmino is capable of assisting as well as scoring, bagging eight goals and setting up eight more in the league so far this season.

Diogo Jota, Wolves

Wolves' Portuguese striker is on fire at the moment.

He's scored six goals and assisted one in his last five fixtures for the club and could continue to be productive against West Ham, Bournemouth and Aston Villa.

He might not play 90 minutes every week, but with a pricetag of just £6.4m we believe he's worth investing in.

Rui Patricio, Wolves

Another Wolves Portuguese star who could benefit from the Midlands club's kind run of fixtures is Rui Patricio.

He picked up his fourth clean sheet in five Gameweeks on Saturday against Brighton and represents a safe option for points between the sticks.

West Ham, Bournemouth and Villa are three of the league's lowest scorers and could struggle to breach the Wolves backline.

Callum Wilson, AFC Bournemouth

Callum Wilson offered few returns in the first half of the season, but has enjoyed a resurgence in recent Gameweeks.

Though the Cherries haven't been potent this season, if anyone is going to deliver the goods for them at the moment it's the Englishman, and with Howe's men one of the eight sides who feature in Gameweek 31 we believe he's worth gambling on.

Recruit him as a third choice striker ahead of Bournemouth's fixtures against Crystal Palace, Wolves and Newcastle.

Sadio Mane, Liverpool

Despite scoring 175 points so far this season Sadio Mane is owned by less than 25% of FPL managers.

Though by no means a differential choice in midfield, we believe it's worth trying to gain an edge over your fellow competitors by recruiting the Senegalese, especially after his terrific performance against AFC Bournemouth.

The forward has 14 goals and nine assists this season and should add to those tallies against Everton, Crystal Palace and Man City.
