Supporters have been quick to book their own break, with the match a great excuse to visit one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations, which is roughly 115 miles north-east of Leipzig.

Ali Gayward, UK Commercial Manager for easyJet, said: “Berlin is one of our most popular destinations for culture, nightlife and now sport. We have seen unprecedented demand for this weekend. We know how passionate the Rangers fans are and hope this extra flight will help the fans see their heroes in a great European city.”

The match will take place on Sunday, 15 January. The extra flights will leave on 14 January and return 16 January.
