BDO administrator Bryan Jackson – who rated the Pars’ chances of survival at no more than 50/50 when he was appointed by the courts on 27 March – hopes to hand over the day-to-day running of the club to the fans group this afternoon.

Preferred bidder Pars United’s long wait to finally take control will mark the end of a troubled six-month period in which the Fife side’s 128-year history came under serious threat.
