Dundee have announced the signing of Kenny Miller on a two-year contract.
Miller, who turns 39 in December, has been in talks with St Mirren following his short-lived stint as Livingston player/manager.
But Dundee have stolen a match on the Paisley club.
Miller, a former team-mate of Dundee manager Neil McCann with both Rangers and Scotland, will wear the number 20 shirt for Dundee this season.
The Dens Park club look set to lose young striker Craig Wighton, however.
The Scotland Under-21 internationalist is in talks with Hearts.
