Former Celtic stopper O’Dea went off nursing a groin strain at half-time against Inverness, while German player Konrad failed a fitness test before Saturday’s 1-1 draw with
the Highlanders at Dens Park after injuring his ankle in training 24 hours earlier. Now Dundee hope the influential pair can declare themselves fit for the Celtic meeting before travelling to take on Rangers in the Scottish Cup quarter-final at Ibrox a few days later.

Dens manager Paul Hartley said: “Konrad went over his ankle at training on Friday so just couldn’t play against Inverness. O’Dea has taken a nick in his groin area and it’s a big week coming up for us. So we’ll just need to wait and see how they both are.”
