Debate gives fans chance to quiz legends

THE Scottish football fans roadshow kicks off at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange this Sunday evening, with Hearts legend Gary Mackay and his Hibs counterpart, Pat Stanton, due to be the special guests.

The event, organised by Supporters Direct Scotland, is a Question Time-style session on Scottish football, with fans invited to attend and join the debate free of charge.

There will be several roadshows across the country over the next month or so, but this weekend’s is the only one in the Capital.

As well as discussing the big issues in football in a light-hearted environment, those in attendance will also get the chance to get up close to the Scottish Communities League Cup. The event starts at 6.30pm, with free entry on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in attending should email their name to [email protected].
