Wanyama bid increased

Cardiff have upped their bid for Celtic’s Victor Wanyama after being previously snubbed.

The Premiership side are said to have improved their £10m bid with better personal terms to the Kenyan international.

Southampton’s £12m offer was initially accepted by Celtic but the 22-year-old was unable to agree personal terms. (Scotsman)

Hearts good news

Hearts could finally be getting some good news, after Billy Brown and John Robertson have offered to help Gary Locke for free.

The troubled Tynecastle club is also investigating a way to keep the services of Danny Wilson, who was left in limbo after his registration was unable to be processed. (Sunday Post)

No Gordon fear

Rangers keeper Cammy Bell has no fears over talk of Craig Gordon signing for the Ibrox club.
