Hibs striker Anthony Stokes and St Johnstone enforcer Paul Paton will escape retrospective punishment from the Scottish FA compliance officer.
Dundee boss Neil McCann was furious with referee John Beaton after the whistler decided to book Stokes for striking Jack Hendry in the groin area during their 2-1 defeat at Easter Road.
Paton, meanwhile, appeared to elbow Celtic captain Scott Brown during his side’s 4-0 loss to the reigning champions at McDiarmid Park. He was also punished with a yellow card by match official Bobby Madden.
As reported in the Daily Record, because each referee took action at the time there is nothing compliance officer Tony McGlennan can do under SFA rules.
