The struggling home side had the better of a wretched opening period, but after the restart, the league leaders nearly made the breakthrough in the 64th minute when Graham Webster headed just over the bar. Clyde’s Andy Munro then headed wide

Second-placed Stirling Albion spurned an opportunity to reclaim top spot as they fell to a 1-0 loss at Berwick Rangers for whom goalkeeper Robby McCrorie produced several impressive saves. Berwick took the lead in the eighth minute as Michael McKenna fired home. Within five minutes Stirling would have levelled but for a stunning double save from the outstanding McCrorie. Robert Wilson’s header struck the woodwork, denying Berwick a second goal, but they held on to consign Stirling to their first away defeat of the league campaign.
