Celtic linked with Danny Graham; Arsenal hopeful of landing Tom Rogic for around £7 million and Rangers linked with Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans

Rodgers keen on Graham

BRENDAN Rodgers is ready to swoop for Sunderland striker Danny Graham as he looks to bolster the Celtic strikeforce.

Graham, who has had spells with Carlisle, Watford and Swansea, is a free agent this summer and was linked with both Celtic and Rangers earlier this month but looks set to team up again with Rodgers.

Graham told the Daily Mail: “[Brendan] is probably the single biggest influence in my life, probably behind my parents I’d say.

“He’s certainly influenced my work in terms of professionalism and detail and becoming meticulous, and just generally with work ethic.” (Daily Mail)

Arsenal hope to land Rogic for £7m

ARSENAL haven’t given up hope of landing Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic and could offer the Parkhead side £7 million for the Australian international.

Rogic was a star performer for the Hoops last season, scoring a number of key goals, and could be tempted by a move south.

Still only 23, the Australian star has scored four goals in 15 international appearances. Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Kieran Tierney. (Various)

Gers linked with Dorrans

RANGERS could battle it out with Burnley and Middlesbrough to land Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans this summer.

Mark Warburton is intent on strengthening his squad for the Scottish Premiership and has already brought in Joey Barton, Jordan Rossiter, Matt Crooks and Josh Windass to bolster his squad.

Dorrans is rumoured to be leaving Carrow Road in the summer and could follow Barton north to his boyhood heroes. (Various)

Mulgrew wanted by Rodgers

CHARLIE Mulgrew has been given hope of a new deal at Celtic, with new boss Brendan Rodgers calling in the utility man for contract talks.

Mulgrew looked set to exit Parkhead just a few weeks ago, and was linked with Blackburn Rovers and Bournemouth.

But the Scotland international could extend his stay in Glasgow following the arrival of Rodgers. (Various)

Coyle quits Dynamo

OWEN Coyle has left his post as head coach at Houston Dynamo by mutual consent.

The former Burnley, Bolton and St Johnstone boss, who signed a three-year deal in December 2014, reportedly wants to be closer to his family in England.

Dynamo are currently bottom of the MLS Western Conference. (Sky Sports)

Nicky Clark set for Barnsley switch

STRIKER Nicky Clark could join Barnsley after being released by Rangers.

Clark, who joined Rangers from Queen of the South in 2013, has scored 22 goals in 90 appearances for the Gers, but has made just 15 appearances this season. (Daily Record)
