Changing Room Chat: Par hopes run ends in blades of glory

DAVID Graham could claim to having more than most riding on tonight’s Scottish Cup replay with Inverness – after pledging weeks ago not to shave until Dunfermline end their winless run.

When the 28-year-old vowed last month to grow his beard until the Pars tasted victory again, he could not have envisaged a run that has stretched to 19 games with Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to relegation rivals Hibs. He said: “I said I wasn’t going to shave until we won a game, so my beard’s been getting longer and longer. I grew a moustache for Movember and, after that, decided to do this until we win, so I’ll keep growing my beard.

“Hopefully on Wednesday night I can get rid of it.”
