Changing room chat: A good sign for Inverness boss

IF TERRY Butcher needed some reassurance that Inverness’ form had improved recently, then he got it while out walking his dog.

Neighbours had dubbed the manager’s Sunday morning stroll in the hills above Loch Ness “The Walk of Shame” during Caley’s poor early-season run. But Butcher was in far better mood as he hit the trail with German schnauzer Fritz the day after a 6-3 win at Kilmarnock this month.

As he rounded a bend, pinned to a tree by a local farmer was a hand-made sign reading: “The Walk of Shame is Over”.
