Changing Room Chat: Deek: I’ve Scot to be at front of bus

DEREK Riordan says the Scottish connection at Bristol Rovers has helped him settle in after signing a three-month contract.

The League Two club is managed by Mark McGhee and have ex-Motherwell pair David Clarkson and Jim Paterson as well as former Dundee United defender Garry Kenneth in the squad. Ex-Celtic and Hibs striker Riordan said: “A few of the boys were slagging us off saying it was the Scots corner at the front of the bus although a few of the English were coming down to sit beside us so they must want to be us. It helps you settle in.”
