Who Celtic and Rangers have been drawn against in Europa League group stages

Scottish champions Celtic have been drawn against Milan, Sparta Prague and Lille in the group stages of the Europa League.

The Parkhead side were seeded in Pot 1 but have still be handed a tough draw in Group H.

Neil Lennon’s are aiming to reach the knockout stages for the third campaign in succession. Last time they were able to better Lazio, Rennes and Cluj to finish top before losing to Copenhagen in the knockout stages.

Glasgow rivals Rangers will face Benfica, Standard Liege and Lech Poznan in Group D.

Steven Gerrard’s men were in Pot 3. They’ll be looking to qualify for the knockout stages for the second season running. In 2019/20, they were able to finish runners-up to Porto, beating out Young Boys and Feyenoord. They then defeated Braga before being knocked out by German side Bayer Leverkusen in the last 16.

The group stages begin on October 22 and finish on December 10.
