One Aberdeen fan attempted to distract Leigh Griffiths from his penalty-taking duties during Celtic’s 2-1 defeat at Pittodrie - by exposing his stomach and rubbing it as the Hoops forward stepped up to take the spot kick.

The ball was duly dispatched past Danny Ward, and the fan, named locally as Derek Russo, put his stomach away, while gesturing to Griffiths.

However, the Dons supporter had the last laugh as Paul Quinn’s late goal handed 10-man Aberdeen victory over last season’s Scottish Premiership champions.
