Ex-Scotland international Tony Green continues to chair the panel, completed by former Liverpool midfielder Ian Callaghan, inset, and ex-Manchester United man David Sadler, which adjudicates on the outcome of postponed matches. Since COVID-19 has forced football to shut down, they have been applying their expertise to every match in the UK. In their virtual world, Celtic are ever closer to wrapping up a ninth consecutive league title with Green and his colleagues reckoning Neil Lennon’s men would have taken all three points at Ibrox on 14 March. At the other end of the Premiership, the panel clearly don’t fancy Hearts’ chances of escaping relegation, having decreed they would have lost to Livingston and Ross County in the last few weeks.
