The row over Celtic’s mid-season trip to Dubai doesn’t look like being resolved any time soon while Rangers prospect Kai Kennedy looks likely to sign a new deal at Ibrox before spending the second half of the season on loan at Raith Rovers. The Gers attacker had been with Raith’s Championship rivals Inverness CT but Covid-19 living conditions supposedly prevented the teenager from settling in the Highlands.

Hibs are on the cusp of announcing the signing of former Motherwell defender-midfielder Chris Cadden while Hearts are also looking to bolster their squad. However, former Tynecastle forward Gavin Reilly won’t be returning to Gorgie as the former St Mirren striker has agreed an 18-month deal with Livingston after leaving English side Carlisle United.
