The January transfer window in Scotland is into its third week and it is yet to really take off.

After a raft of activity in the early days of the window with Hibs signing three players and St Mirren bringing in two new faces, business has quietened again this week – although in Scottish football, there is always the chance that situations change very rapidly.

Several clubs have recalled players who were on loan at lower-league clubs with some of them, such as Dunfermline Athletic forward Gabby McGill, being sent out on loan to teams in England who are still playing regular games.

The window closes at midnight on Monday, February 1. The final few days are often the most hectic in the January window as teams hurry to get business completed before the window SLAMS SHUT.
