St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright said after the match that Perth side planned to appeal the decision.

The Scottish FA has now served Boerrigter with a Notice of Complaint for alleged simulation and offered the player a fixed two-match suspension. Mackay has appealed his red card and subsequent suspension.

If Boerrigter does not accept the charge and offered suspension then his case will be heard at a disciplinary hearing on Thursday August 21. Mackay’s appeal has been scheduled for the same date.
