Mioduski, who was at Parkhead for a European Club Association meeting, told the Daily Mail that he had shook hands with Peter Lawell and agreed to cease hostilities. He said: “Peter is on the board of the ECA and Celtic were hosting. We had a conversation about what happened over the summer. We shook hands and I explained to him briefly why we were upset and he explained to me why Celtic acted as they did. Listen we are all big boys. At the end of it all, we have to put things behind us and look forward. I am looking forward to working with Peter now because I am getting more involved with the ECA and I think we can make things better for our clubs by working together.”

The Polish club, who were punished by FIFA for fielding the suspended Bartosz Bereszynski as a substitute in their second leg match against Celtic, have a 100 per cent record in Group L and Mioduski admits it would be great to face Celtic again in the competition, and more specifically the final in Warsaw. He added: “Playing Celtic in the Europa League final in Warsaw would be the greatest story ever told.”
