Slaven Bilic keen on becoming next Celtic manager - reports

Slaven Bilic is interested in becoming the next manager of Celtic, according to BBC Sport Scotland.

The former Croatian national team manager has been out of work since leaving Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad earlier this year and is keen to get back into management.

It has previously been reported that the 50-year-old was keen on the vacant Scotland job, but it is understood he would prefer a club job and is attracted to a club of Celtic’s size.

Neil Lennon is the current caretaker boss after taking the position following the departure of Brendan Rodgers, though it remains unclear whether the Parkhead job wish for the Northern Irishman to return to the club he managed between 2010 and 2014.

Bilic has club experience with Besiktas, Lokomotiv Moscow, Hajduk Split and West Ham United.
