Huddersfield are considering a move for Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty. Aware that they may be able to offer a cut-price sum of £575,000 for the Northern Ireland international due to a clause in his contract over Ibrox wage cuts, the newly-promoted Championship club. (Sun)

Celtic ‘in loan move for Mills’

• Huddersfield Town chairman Dean Hoyle has said that Celtic target Jordan Rhodes may stay at the club, due to their Championship status. (Record)

Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz has taken to Twitter to hint that he may turn his back on Scotland. • David Low, the financial consultant who advised Fergus McCann on his takeover of Celtic in 1994, insists that Charles Green will be buying Rangers for a knock-down price.
