Rangers backed to pull off CVA

Leading football finance expert Neil Patey of Ernst & Young believes key indicators are now pointing towards Rangers achieving a CVA with key creditors HMRC and Ticketus.

If the club can striker the deal, reported to be around 9p in the pound, Rangers would continue in their current form and would not have to for, a new company. (Mail)

Rangers have list of 19 signing targets

Prospective Rangers owner Charles Green says he has a list of 19 players that he wants to sign and that he is set to speak to the SPL about replacing players who are out-of-contract at the club.

Clubs in administration can replace players if they have SPL board approval.

Rangers were banned from signing players for 12 months however the decision was over-turned by the Court of Session. The SFA must now reconsider what penalty Rangers should receive for non-payment of taxes. (Record)

Miller target for MLS

Former Celtic and Rangers striker Kenny Miller is being lined up by MLS side Portland Timbers where he could star alongside former team mate Kris Boyd.

Miller has a year to run on his curren deal with Cardiff.

Hearts target “disgusted” to be linked with club
