Kevin Wilson: Celtic will have to work against St Mirren

KELVIN Wilson has two reasons to believe Celtic’s Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final against St Mirren at Hampden will not necessarily be the expected walkover.

The Englishman’s only appearances at the national stadium to date resulted in a 1-0 defeat by Kilmarnock in the final of the League Cup and a 2-1 loss to Hearts in the semi-final of the William Hill Scottish Cup. The defender, back from a two-match suspension, said: “Just because you are favourites doesn’t mean you are automatically going to go through so you have to be concentrated and treat it like any other game. You’ve got to make it happen and I think the boys will know that.”
