Fan to walk from Parkhead to Anfield for charity
LIVERPOOL and Celtic supporter Iain McGovern will walk 232 miles from Celtic Park to Anfield to raise money for The Lola Commons Fund for the charity SiMBA. and remember the 96 fans who died in the Hillsborough tragedy in 1989.
Mr McGovern says the walk is also dedicated to the 96 fans who died in the Hillsborough tragedy of 1989.
Fund co-founder Lisa Hague and boxer Alex Arthur will accompany Mr McGovern for the first 12 miles of the walk, which is supported by UNISON Scotland.
