Barca beat Celtic U19s

BARCELONA proved too strong for Celtic’s under-19 side last night, beating the Scots 5-1 in the penultimate match of the NextGen Series group stage.

Celtic made it difficult for themselves in the Mini Estadi, falling 2-0 behind within the opening five minutes, with goals from Patri Gabarron then Dongo, who later went on to complete his hat-trick.

The impressive Catalans used the same slick passing game as their senior team and Sandro made it 5-0 with 16 minutes left before Tony Watt grabbed Celtic’s consolation a minute later.
