Latest Celtic manager odds: Former Premier League boss emerges as strong frontrunner

After an underwhelming campaign and widespread scrutiny from fans and pundits, Neil Lennon and Celtic finally parted ways earlier this week.

The Hoops are currently 18 points adrift of bitter rivals Rangers at the summit of the Scottish Premiership, and any hopes of wrapping up a historic 10th consecutive league title look to be all but extinguished.

Lennon’s assistant John Kennedy will take the reins between now and the end of the season, with a clash against Aberdeen to contend with on Saturday afternoon, but the race to be named permanent boss at Parkhead is very much on with a wide array of names in the running.

Everybody from Scotland manager Steve Clarke to former Hoops boss Martin O’Neill have been touted as potential candidates for the vacancy, but a look at the current odds would suggest that there is one man who is way out in front.
