Miller exits Hoops

Calvin Miller has sent a message to supporters on Instagram as he confirmed his departure from Celtic next month. The 22-year-old played five times for the Hoops but suffered a serious injury in September during a reserve match forcing an operation, and the versatile left-sided player has been recovering since. Posting an image of himself in action for Celtic, Miller wrote: “Ten years of unbelievable memories and friends for life and been lucky enough to live my dream so young, playing such a short part in a incredible team. Unfortunately all good things come to an end at some point but it’s time to take the next step in my career, cheers to everyone at the club.” (Various)

Jason Naismith says he has not given up hope on sealing a permanent move to Hibs despite ending his loan spell without a deal in place. The defender joined on loan from Peterborough but spoke highly of the Easter Road side saying: “If Hibs came calling it would be a no-brainer. You don't really get many clubs like Hibs and if they are interested then that would obviously be the number one priority. The geographical thing doesn't really come into it for me. If Hibs played in Qatar I'd probably sign for them with that fan base.” (Evening News)
