How the Celtic players rated in last-gasp draw against Aberdeen
Ratings out of ten for every Celtic player who appeared in Wednesday night’s 1-1 draw with Aberdeen.
They left it late but Celtic managed to avoid another embarrassing defeat in the Scottish Premiership – not that a struggling point at Pittodrie will do much to quell the dissension among the club’s support at the end of this miserable season.
Still, one point is better than none, and thanks to a last-second Leigh Griffiths header from close range, John Kennedy’s men were able to leave the north east with a share of the spoils.
The home side had led from the early going after Lewis Ferguson directed an Andy Considine header from a set-piece past goalkeeper Scott Bain.
Player ratings scale - 10: One of best performances you've seen. 9: Outstanding. 8: Very good. 7: Good. 6: Average. 5: Poor, 4: Very poor. 3: Terrible day at office. 2: Abysmal. 1: One of worst performances you've seen.

Returned to the starting XI but looked shaky from the outset. Struggled against Aberdeen's forwards and even his distribution was poor. Photo: Ross MacDonald - SNS Group

6. DM - Scott Brown - 5
Not the best of displays against his future employers as he struggled to make much of an impact. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

7. AMR - Ryan Christie - 6
Quality was sometimes missing but played with his usual energy in a team that lacked it. Will feel a little hard done by to be taken off with others going through the motions. Photo: Craig Williamson - SNS Group

8. DM - Callum McGregor - 6
Made a tremendous, lung-bursting, box-to-box run to deny Aberdeen a second goal. Unfortunately didn't have a similar impact going forward. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
