Forster is top stopper in Europe

CELTIC keeper Fraser Forster has made more saves than any other keeper in this season’s Champions League.

The Englishman has made 49 saves in five games – an average of almost ten stops per match. However, Celtic are second worst in the group stages for possession, with just 38 per cent of the ball in five matches. Only former Hearts manager Paulo Sergio’s Cluj have less possession at 36 per cent. Celtic’s Scott Brown has committed the second most fouls in the competition, at 15, second only to Bate’s Vitali Rodionov, at 20.
