Diario AS is reporting that the winger’s performances this season for Espanyol’s Under-18 outfit have caught the eye of Celtic scout David Moss.

Entrena scored the goal that handed the ‘Juvenil A’ the Division de Honor Group 3 title as they defeated Jabac Terrassa last month.

A pacy winger who can play on either flank, Entrena impressed Moss to the extent that the Hoops scout made enquiries as to his availability.

However, Entrena has a year left on his current contract as well as a further two-year option, and is expected to make the step up to the B team with the Periquitos.

The 18-year-old was with Barcelona prior to making the short trip to join Espanyol, and was a team-mate of Partick Thistle Under-20 midfielder Simon Colina.

He also had spells at Granada and Sevilla’s youth academies.
