Celtic: Jason Denayer hopes to return to Man City

JASON Denayer has delivered a blow to Celtic by revealing that he wants to return to Manchester City at the end of the season, it has been reported today.

Denayer has been a permanent fixture in the Celtic team this season and has enjoyed an excellent campaign for the Scottish champions.

The Belgian’s form has even attracted interest from several teams across Europe, including Dutch giants Ajax.

Ronny Deila has also made no secret of the fact he would love to keep the young star at Parkhead.

Denayer’s ambitions lie at the Etihad, where he believes he has a chance at finally breaking into the first team.

He told the Daily Record: “I hope next season to be ready to play for City. If I ever get the chance to play with Vincent Kompany then I know I will have made it.

“My view is that I will return to City next season.”
