Celtic 'free to enter pre-contract discussions' with £15m winger over summer switch

Jordan Ibe has been told his contract at Bournemouth won't be renewed

Celtic are free to try and sign Jordan Ibe for next season after Bournemouth decided against renewing the player's contract, the Scottish Sun reports.

Ibe was a transfer target of Celtic last summer while there were also rumours in January that he could make the switch to Parkhead.

Bournemouth have previously been reticent to allowing the former Liverpool attacker to leave, but have now decided there is no future for him on the south coast.

The £15million man is reportedly on a £40,000-a-week contract but is said to be interested in taking a wage cut to move north of the border.

Celtic are expected to be in the market for a left-sided attacker in the next transfer window with Mohamed Elyounoussi's loan contract set to expire.
